Training Services
We would love to help your family! All of our classes are about teaching you to teach your dog what is appropriate. Things like no jumping, no nipping, no barking, potty training, come when you are called, and basic respect and manners. We also offer behavior modification training. We have experience working with a variety of behaviors - including working with aggressive dogs. While we are educated in all methods of training, positive reinforcement is our choice method. Our goal is to have dogs comfortable and confident!
Unless otherwise noted, all training classes will take place on Saturdays in Spotsylvania County, near Lake Anna State Park.
Cancellation / Late or Missed Class Policy
If you agree to a time and date and do not show - there is an $80 cancellation fee. This can be paid on the Pay Now page. Thank you!
Initial Evaluation
This is a 1 hour meet and greet evaluation in our Spotsylvania location. We use this hour to create a training plan together that best suits your family.
Level 1 Training Class
5 week private training course.
This course lays the foundation for good dog manners. They will learn the following:
No jumping, No nipping, No pulling on leash, Come when you are called, Potty training, Sit, Down, Roll and more! We also show how to properly desensitize your dog so they do not become fearful of anything.
Level 2 Training Class
6 week group training course.
This course builds on and perfects the skills taught in Level 1. We will also do an introduction to agility training, learn some basic tricks, and learn the following commands: Stay, Leave it, and Wait.
Level 3 Training Class
6 week group training course.
This course will cover the STAR puppy test, practicing commands with distractions, and more really cute tricks! We will also begin the Canine Good Citizen certification.
Level 4 Training Class
6 week group training course.
In this course we will prepare your pup to pass the Canine Good Citizen certification!
Level 5 Training Class
6 week group training course.
This class is just for fun! Your dog will continue to work on agility skills, learn silly tricks, and learn a choreographed dance!
In Home Training
Scheduled on an individual basis.
If you can't travel to Spotsylvania for class, I will come to you to work on your dog's specific needs.
Flex Schedule Training
5 individual training sessions.
We will meet once a week for a total of 5 sessions. If Saturday classes don't work for you, this option gives you the flexibility to choose the day for your class.
Board & Train
2 week board and train.
Your pup will come stay with us 24/7 for two weeks. They will learn all of the basics and we will work on correcting any problem behaviors. They will return home a brand new pup!
